Chillproof Technology for Divers and Snorkellers

Warmth Without Extra Weight

Sharkskin Chillproof garments have changed traditional wetsuit design for scuba divers and snorkellers. With 2.5 to 3mm insulation without buoyancy, divers no longer need to carry extra weight. Chillproof is breathable, windchill proof and dries quickly while worn, making it significantly warmer and more comfortable on the surface than neoprene.

Flexible Layering Options

Chillproof can be worn on its own in warm tropical waters or as a base layer under a wetsuit for additional warmth. For example, wearing it under a 5mm wetsuit delivers warmth similar to a 7.5 to 8mm suit without bulk or buoyancy. Chillproof is also popular as a drysuit undergarment thanks to its insulation properties both dry and wet. Garments can be layered depending on water temperature.
