THE RASHIE RE-INVENTED Rapid Dry short sleeve top has a standard neck design and is cut in a stylish loose T-shirt design. Perfect as your ‘go to’ technical T-shirt on the water as well as for everyday casual use around the water.

Rapid Dry does not ‘cling’ to your body and impede movement like other watersports garments do. Rapid Dry looks great when worn wet or dry.

Unisex, 4-way stretch design for a wide range of fits from XXS to 5XL

Sharkskin Rapid Dry is a lightweight, breathable, fast drying fabric which is warmer and more insulative than cotton and nylon / lycra / spandex synthetic fabrics both when wet and when dry.

The stylish loose fit T-shirt design is super comfortable when worn by itself for all watersports but can also be worn layered over other Sharkskin tops for extra insulation and sun protection when needed.

Rapid Dry is ideal for paddle watersports, board watersports, sailing and many other watersports including white water rafting, multisport and adventure sports.

  • Rapid Dry is ‘infused’ and then ‘heat set’ with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment. This method is more effective at shedding water and lasts much longer than traditional treatments.
  • 3-D ‘rib-knit’ fabric construction for superior insulation properties.
  • Durable fabric resists deterioration in UV, saltwater and chlorine so the garment will last longer.
  • 4-way stretch ensures garments are non-restrictive allowing a full range of movement.
  • Breathable fabric to allow body temperature regulation.
  • Non-chaffing seams for comfort during active watersports.

Rapid Dry can be sized a number of ways to suit your preference or type of use. If you choose your regular shirt size, Rapid Dry will be form fitting to slightly loose fit.

If you prefer a loose fit similar to a loose fitting T-shirt then we recommend you chose a size up from your regular shirt size.

If you would prefer a body fitting or snug fit (like a fitted lycra rash shirt for example) then we would recommend that you select a size down from your regular shirt size.

    Almost got it wet this trip ...

    We arrived for a week-long dive trip on Saturday, dove Sunday and Monday, but by that point people thought I was having a heart attack because I was grey and in a lot of pain. Long story short: emergency appendectomy at midnight. I wore my shark skin shirt as a windbreaker as I lay on the hotel patio, recovering with a lovely view of the ocean. I also wore it between dives on the two days we went diving. My take-away on the shirts: excellent windbreakers! I was comfortable, not too warm, not clammy or icky-sweaty. I normally wear medium in my shirts, but I bought two smalls and an XS per the size chart recommendations, (thinking I'd wear it under the wet suit for night dives - which I missed this trip). I'm 5'-4, 130 lbs, 32D, 33x29x39. The shirt wasn't too tight or unflattering in how it clung. Even the XS. So far, I'm very happy. The fabric doesn't have that super-silky feel. There's a tiny texture that feels like it might be scratchy, but it's very soft against the skin. The overspray on the boat beads up and rolls off instead of slowly saturating and making me cold, so that was my first "Yay!" moment. the second "yay" was wearing it over my sleeveless top to dinner because the temps drop at sunset, and it kept my temperature very comfortable. Just for the record, I can't stand polyester and hate that 'plastic' feel against my skin. For me to praise anything that's not organic fabric is HUGE. And I'm impressed with these shirts. I'll put up a review…

    I've only used it a few times, but it fits well and works great for my outdoor water sports. I paddle SUPs and kayaks on flat water and surf on a SUP. It holds it's shape wet or dry.
