The new ‘step-in’ top can be worn by itself or underneath a wetsuit for extra protection from the cold and wind. The unique step-in design not only looks great on but prevents the top from riding up so you can wear it on its own without having to wear separate shorts or briefs. It has a neck collar to help keep your neck area warm and the long sleeves offer additional protection from the cold and sun. Thumb tabs on the inside of the sleeves help when pulling a wetsuit on over the top.

Chillproof is an aquatic specific windchill proof, 3-layer composite material with the thermal properties of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit but without many of the drawbacks of traditional wetsuits. Chillproof can be worn under a wetsuit for extra warmth and enhanced wind protection. Chillproof can also be worn by itself as the perfect watersports thermal wear or layered with other Sharkskin garments for extra warmth and insulation.

It is ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling, jet skiing, paddle watersports, board watersports, wind watersports, sailing and many other watersports.

  • 4-way stretch ensures garments are non-restrictive allowing a full range of movement and are easy to get on and off.
  • Non-chaffing, itch and odour resistant properties mean that garments can be worn for long periods of time.
  • Durable seam thread to resist deterioration in saltwater so the garment will last longer.
  • Neutrally buoyant so there is no need to add extra weight when diving.

    Looks great, and cozy warm.

    This spring suit is a cozy addition to my surfing wardrobe…and it looks great too. My only complaint would be the sleeves are too loose, and the fill with water all the time.

    4 Stars⭐⭐⭐⭐ I absolutely love it, it's comfortable, warm and looks great! Could only be improved by some sort of pulling lanyard on the back of the neck as I need help getting out of it once on. Also, because of my short, curvy shape, I needed the larger size in the chest area and, as a result the arms are very long and do not fit. Do you have, or is there the possibility of tailored adjustments? Thanks 😊

    I always get cold in the water. This suit has made diving and snorkeling activities so much better fir me. Allowing me to stay out longer and keeps the cold at bay. After talking with the Sharkskin staff they convinced me to go down a size and I’m super glad I did. Keeping the material close to my skin, this suit has been awesome. The fabric stretches a little when whet which is great because I’ve got a long body! Well worth the purchase!!

    Excellent Warmth

    I really liked the top, however I had difficulty getting it on and off, not a product fault , my shoulders do not rotate properly. I would recommend this for anyone who is paddle boarding, on a jet ski, or in a kayak. However I found it not so good for swimming in the water as the sleeves did not fit me quite right.
