CHILLPROOF ESSENTIALS VEST MENS

I've bought Sharkskin online a couple of times now and while at first I thought it was a little expensive as soon as I received it the quality was so obvious. The original items are still being worn constantly and proven to be durable. This time it appeared there was a problem with stock and the communication from Customer Service was terrific. I'm extremely happy to highly recommend Sharkskin products.

This vest was replaced for me because I had originally purchased a size that was far too tight.

The replacement item is certainly snug, but because my chest doesn't match my waist in the right way, there is a certain amount of open/loose fabric at the under-arm area; very understandable considering the nature of the fabric.

For the chillproof factor I was most impressed altho' my first wearing was not on a cold day, and I had to remove it pretty soon. I find the fabric hard to grab as I try to remove it over my head.

I maybe would have preferred to purchase an item with a zip, as the contortions necessary to get the jacket off are quite comical.

I'm sure in the colder months of next year I'll be pretty pleased with this jacket's performance.

The material is good

The size is hard to match for me. I fitted into four different size categories. I didn’t want it too tight around the chest as I need to breathe heavily. So water flowed around it while swimming. The windchill factor coming out of the surf was significantly better. It was a good under vest for the wetsuit.
