More than 25% of body heat is lost through the head and extremities of the body. The Sharkskin Chillproof sleeveless top full zip with hood is designed to be worn underneath your wetsuit to provide the best warmth and insulation for your torso for colder dives.

The hood protects against chafing from mask straps, keeps your head and ears toasty warm and is flexible enough to slide down around your neck in-between dives while on the boat or back on land while remaining comfortable. The Chillproof material allows for better hearing and less chance of ear squeeze than traditional neoprene hoods.

The full zip ensure the garment is easy to put on and off before and after use.

Chillproof is an aquatic specific windchill proof, 3-layer composite material with the thermal properties of a 2.5 to 3mm neoprene wetsuit but without many of the drawbacks of traditional wetsuits. Chillproof can be worn under a wetsuit for extra warmth and enhanced wind protection. Chillproof can also be worn by itself as the perfect watersports thermal wear or layered with other Sharkskin garments for extra warmth and insulation.

It is ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling, jet skiing, paddle watersports, board watersports, wind watersports, sailing and many other watersports.

  • Durable seam thread to resist deterioration in saltwater so the garment will last longer.
  • Neutrally buoyant so there is no need to add extra weight when diving.

    Perfect for kayaking. Sleeveless makes your body warm but arms are free to paddle.

    Full zip makes for easy dressing.

    Plus the hood means I don't have to worry about carry another piece of clothing.

    So Far So Good

    So Far, So Good . I am a swim instructor and have worn it twice now ... keeps me nice and warm... I choose sleeveless so I could keep good arm movement ...but I may opt for a sleeved number as the weather gets colder. I did think that the 12 ( my regular size) was far too small and uncomfortable so I exchanged it for a 14 and that fits fine. hoping it wont stretch to much over time and become baggy and sloppy. We shall also see how it will fare in the pool water as pose to sea water . Our pool is a salt water pool so hopefully no problems . I am also thinking of having the hood cut off so it just has a high neck on it as I am mostly standing waist deep in water ( no need for the hood). hope thesis helpful .. Cheers L

    Convenient balance of warm and flexible

    Great for snorkelling - I get cold easily and this meant I could stay in for longer. Easy to manage taking it on and off with the front zip. Also easy to put a light long sleeve rashie over it for sun protection on my arms as needed.
